Well I got my shit together, as much as I ever will, and Created a couple new tracks in the past weeks. First I have something I made this morning I'm pretty proud of, it needs a lot of work still, but hey, it's called Heated Debate on Liquid Energy. The next tune I created because I said I could write a song like Atari Teenage Riot in under 15 minutes. Well it ended up taking about an hour after I had to install some extra programs, but it's called Argh for lack of anything better to call it. Also I have a song about killing Eisernlint. And a rap(e) song where I bust a funky rhyme. Right. On. Yes folks you heard it here first, I will soon begin preproduction on the next Uncle Gooch record tentively titled "Worst than the First Time" I don't own a computer at home anymore thus why I haven't updated in over 6 months. Life's been tough on the ol'Unk as of late. I'm very poor. I just gave up drinking and smoking for New Years, so let's see how that pans out. I have a couple tracks that have been laying around since the dawn of time and finally I'll post an update to share them. So you ever hear that song OH by Ciara. Well imagine if I was singing it. This song is pretty old now but I think those of you who haven't heard it yet will enjoy it. Also I have a couple tracks I basically just exported from some half-finished stuff on my Cubase at work. I have Giving Thanks and The Revenge of the Troubled Litter Runt. So sooner than later the new sober Uncle Gooch will write his next masterpiece, maybe form a band, and hopefully play the first live gig of my life ever. I've actually been a little active with my song writing as of late and have 2 more tracks for your displeasure.The first one is Poody Song (I'm still working on a real title). It's a bit of a step up in my electronic programming. The other one is Lost Time which is the first Uncle Gooch song to really feature some sort of vocals. It's also a bit of an New Wave 80s throwback. I actually got in a Time Machine and recorded this with a Flock of Seagulls,lucky me? Enjoy!! Poody Song Lost Time 4/24/05 Fer Chrissakes, what the hell have I been doing with my life? Not writing new music that's for sure. I do have a couple new tracks for you kids though, but lately I've just been too drunk to do anything creative. I've been playing plenty of guitar but just not doing anything else really. Not that anyone even comes here anymore or ever did, but anyways. First up I have two songs I wrote right around the time of my last post and they've actually been on the server since then I just never linked them. The first one is called On Fire. I actually had vocals for it, but they were too lame, so I cut them out. The other two songs don't really have names, one is simply 12105 which is the date I recorded it. And the other song is my most recent one called...well nothing it doesn't have a name. It's more of the electronic type of stuff I tend to do, which is where I'm kind of moving in general. I listen to a lot of Air these days, so that could be an influence. I'm nowhere near as talented as those guys though. Anyways, here's the songs for your enjoyment. He got up on stage and did his worst Usher impersonation with a song called Love Flight. It was so bad even he forgot the words to it. So they let him try it again. Well luckily I pulled this puppy off in one take for your listening pleasure. My music is completely different from his but the content is as steamy as ever. The second song I just wrote today and is a totally new sound for Uncle Gooch. It's the sound of a field of flowers and green rolling hillsides on a fine spring morning in Tennessee. It's called Placid Mind. I think I may change the title though.
